The government have stated that as of November 11th 2021 – all staff, contractors, hairdressers, chiropodist, entertainers etc… must be double vaccinated before working or carrying out works in all care homes. The only exception to this, will be emergency services & visitors to residents.
Visits will now take place in residents’ room for a maximum of 2 people at a time or the garden room (guidance is available of Gov.uk – update on policies for visiting arrangements in care homes)
We are still at this time unable to open the open to pre-COVID times, but understand that residents & their family/friends may like to spend time in their room.
We will be allowing a maximum of 2 visitors at a time in a residents room – this is due tone size of the rooms, if more visitors wish to visit at any one time, then these visits can take place in the garden room.
This will include the visitor carrying out a Lateral Flow Test on site or at home prior to the visit (registering the test & sharing the result with us) and following all infection control protocols.
Visits will still be by appointment and must be pre-booked. There will be no time-limit to the visit – although visits must be aware of the meal times at Quaker House.
All visitors will be sent & given a copy of our visiting procedure, to then sign this when they next attend NFQCH. If you would like a copy of our visiting procedure please do not hesitate to contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org
